High tech surgical services

Pet Care
Surgery

Your pet's comfort and safety are our biggest concerns! Therefore, each patient requiring general anesthetic is given a presurgical CBC and blood-work at no additional charge. Pain medication is routinely administered during the recovery phase and all patients undergoing surgery are sent home with pain relief medication.

Package prices are available for affordable spays, neuters and declaws. Estimates can be given for other procedures.

Since we believe your pet is happier at home, we will try to discharge all routine surgery patients by dinner time.

  • Free pain pills and bloodwork are included with all surgeries.

Internal medicine

Pet Care
Internal Medicine

Good preventive health care is the core of our program which takes a "wellness" approach throughout your pet's life.

We recommend annual physical examinations and offer affordable yearly visits complete with vaccinations, heartworm tests and fecal analysis.

For older patients, we strongly recommend senior screening - a complete panel of diagnostic bloodwork, physical examination and urinalysis to detect health concern early. Often, senior diseases can be successfully managed if detected before a crisis occurs.

We also offer a full range of medical workups for our ailing patients including:

  • Complete in-house bloodwork

  • EKG and thoracic radiographs

  • Dermatology - skin scrapings, biopsies and cultures

  • Allergy Testing - serum allergy testing and desensitization

  • Nutritional management

  • Chronic pain management

Dentistry

Pet Care
Dentistry

Periodontal disease is the most prevalent disease in both dogs and cats. An astounding 80% of dogs and 70% of cats over the age of three are showing signs of periodontal disease.

Our approach to dental health incorporates in-hospital care, in-home care and good nutrition.

Annual examinations are necessary to determine the level of care required for your pet.

Routine dental cleanings are performed under general anesthesia and include scaling, polishing and lavage. Dental sealants or fluoride may be applied. If indicated, dental radiographs and more extensive dental surgery can also be performed.

Home care products are available to help combat the plaque that is constantly forming.

Ask our Qualified Technicians for more information.

Radiology Diagnostics

A full range of radiographic services are available to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of your pet's condition. Plain and contrast radiographs, dental radiographs and routine OFA hip and elbow radiographs can be performed often while you wait.

Please be advised that some radiographic procedures may require sedation for proper positioning.
